TAILORED FOR END USERS, MANAGERS, AND CUSTOMER ADMINS
INTRODUCTION

The Publications feature in SapienceIQ allows users to view publications that have been rendered and delivered to them based on a schedule. Users receive publications according to role-based access or explicit assignment by the publisher. Publications ensure timely access to relevant content without needing to manually search or open reports.

HOW IT WORKS
  • Users can view, download, flag, or delete publication items from their Publication board.

  • Bulk actions allow multiple publications to be downloaded, flagged, marked as read, or deleted at once.

  • Filters and view management options help users organize and manage publications efficiently.

ACCESSING PUBLICATIONS
  • Open the Hub, click the Publication icon from the Vertical Ribbon menu on the left.

  • From the Bulletin Board, access the Publications feed via the Toolbox on the left or by clicking the tiles on the Bulletin Board.

PUBLICATION BOARD
  • By default, the board displays all unread publications.

  • Filters can be applied to narrow the listing by type, time, or flagged items

  • Admins can toggle the Admin View to switch between User and Admin perspectives.

  • The Schedule Manager link opens the Schedule and Subscription Manager to view and manage schedules for publications, subscriptions, and data alerts.

PUBLICATION LIST ITEMS
  • Download: Download the rendered publication for offline use. The item is removed from the board after download.

  • Delete: Soft delete the publication from the user’s list. Other users retain access.

  • Go to Item Location: Open the source content in the Content Manager.

  • Flag: Mark the publication for easier retrieval in the future using filters.

  • Access to publications depends on role security or explicit assignment by the publisher.

  • Filters and bulk actions only affect the currently visible listing on the Publications board.
