Favorites

TAILORED FOR END USERS, MANAGERS, AND CUSTOMER ADMINS

INTRODUCTION

Favorites is a centralized list of all content items and folders that a user has marked as their favorites. It provides a convenient way to quickly locate and open frequently used content and folder locations from the Hub, as well as other areas across the application where content is accessed. Items and folders marked as favorites are indicated throughout the system with a Star icon(⭐).

HOW IT WORKS

The favorites list simply shows items you have flagged. Note: This view does not include favorite data sources.

ACCESSING FAVORITES

The Favorites view is available in multiple locations, all denoted by a Star icon:

  • Content Manager: Favorites is the first view shown if you have favorites items set.

  • Quick Start Panel and other content panels.

Items in Favorites can be used like normal content. Folders added to Favorites are also marked with a Star icon.

ADDING AND REMOVING FAVORITES

To flag or unflag a content item or folder as a favorite:

  • Add to Favorites: Offered if the item is not currently a favorite; saves the item or folder as a favorite.

  • Remove from Favorites: Offered if the item is already a favorite; unflags it.

LIMITATIONS

The only action which is not available in Favorites inside the Hub is pasting a copied item into the Favorites folder itself.

FINAL NOTE

The Favorites feature provides a simple but powerful way for users to create a personalized workspace by keeping key insights close at hand. End Users, Managers, and Admins can save time, stay focused, and access critical information whenever needed.
