User Info for Viewers

INTRODUCTION

The User Info panel in SapienceIQ allows users to view and manage their personal details, account preferences, and interface settings. It ensures that each user can access and update their basic profile information while maintaining data integrity and security as defined by system permissions.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Accessing User Info:
    From the Hub, click the icon which has an initial of your username. It will open up the User Details & Settings in the top-right corner.

  • The User Info panel opens, displaying the logged-in user’s details.

  • Click the icon again to close the panel.

  • Basic Details Displayed:
    The panel includes:

  • User: Username of the logged-in user.

  • Email, Phone, First Name, Last Name: Basic personal details.

  • Tenant: The workspace or organization the user belongs to.

  • User Type: Indicates if the user is a Viewer, Analyst, or Pro user.

  • Editing Details:
    • Users can edit their Email or Phone Number if this option is enabled by the Admin.

    • Any changes made here are stored locally within SapienceIQ.

    • Profile picture (Avatar) can be updated using the Edit option.

  • Password Management:

    • For users with internal authentication, a Change Password option is available.

    • Click Change Password to open the pop-up and set a new login password.

  • Interface & Language Settings:

    • Interface Mode: Switch between Light and Dark themes.

    • Application Language: Select the preferred display language for SapienceIQ.

  • Additional Options:

    • Authentication Token: Copy the user’s secure key for authorized integrations.

    • Footer Metadata: Displays the current platform version and authentication type.

    • Start-Up Preferences: (For non-Viewer users) choose to enable or disable quick-start tips and Viewer mode.

KEY CAPABILITIES
  • View personal account and system information.
  • Edit permitted fields such as email or phone (if enabled by Admin).
  • Switch between Light and Dark mode.
  • Change platform language.
  • Copy the authentication key for secure integration.
  • Update password (for eligible user types).
LIMITATIONS
  • Viewers have limited access; certain options, like password change or startup preferences, may not be available.
  • Editing contact details depends on Admin permissions.
  • Changes apply only to the user’s local account and do not modify admin-level records.
